Mangalayatan University, Aligarh, is a platform for research scholars to get prepared and face the challenges on the targeted research areas based on corporate and industrial world. The Research and Development experience will complement your rigorous curriculum and make learning by doing much more fun than what you would expect. The Academic and Research Cell at Mangalayatan University is a directorate to coordinate and facilitate all research activities by the different department/institute/faculties of the University along with participation in the policy making, governance, oversight and conduct of Ph.D. research program with a vision to enhance the University’s research profile with successful contribution, in addition to faculty research. Therefore, we strive to develop resources and guidelines for our research scholars to transform country through education science and technology.

The University has demonstrated leadership and excellence in several fields such as Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Computer Science), Biotechnology & Bio-Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Ayurvedic Medicine, Management, Computer Applications, Journalism & Mass Communication, Legal studies, Agriculture, Basic Sciences and Humanities, Education & Research along with full focus on innovations and skill enhancement along with the participation in several collaborations with government laboratories, industries and other Universities in India and abroad.

We continue to break new ground in various fields with our faculty member, research scholars individually and collaboratively to deeply investigate a vast array of disciplinary and interdisciplinary research areas at the cutting edge. The Directorate of Research supported the research efforts of the faculty members in the University and also provides proper mentoring for our researchers and identifies and disseminates research opportunities among the faculty across the disciplines.
