Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science lateral entry (LE) is a degree program for those students who have completed diploma qualification and can directly take admission in 2nd year of computer Science engineering through later entry. Computer Science Engineering through lateral entry is a 3-year course program where students can learn concepts about computer science like Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, cyber security, Data Networking Coding through programming languages etc.

Btech CSE Lateral Entry Eligibility Criteria

Students with diploma in computer science engineering (or a related field) are eligible.
Minimum percentage required to take admission to B.Tech CSE is 50% Marks in a Diploma in Engg. or B.Sc with Mathematics

Computer Science Lateral Entry Course Duration

Lateral Entry Computer Science Engineering Course has a duration of 3 years.
The course is designed for students who want to pursue a diploma in engineering.
The student can enroll in the second year (third semester) of the B.Tech CSE program.
The curriculum is divided into six semesters, with each semester lasting six months.
Students in this program study both theoretical concepts and practical applications related to computer science and engineering.
