2. Is there any Pick up facility from the airport for international students?

Yes, University provides free Pick-up facility from the nearest International Airport i.e., Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) -DEL

3. What currency is acceptable in India? What foreign currency is acceptable for exchange in India? Is there any money exchange inside the university?

Indian National Rupee (INR) is the currency used In India. You can bring Sterling Pounds or USD (Dollar), which can be exchanged at Airport. Also, assistance can be provided from university for exchange of currency.

4. What documents should I carry, that need to be handed for immigration purposes, upon landing in India?

Your International Passport and Invitation/Visa letter by the University

5. What is the temperature or weather condition in the city where Mangalayatan is located?

Summers in northern India start from April and end in August. In rest of the country summer lasts from March to June. By July, most of the Indian interior experiences mean temperatures over 35°C(95°F), while maximum temperatures often exceed 40°C(104 °F).

6. What kind of clothes should I carry with me?

Casual formal and comfortable cotton cloths would be best option. Please do keep in mind the Indian Traditions and etiquette while packing clothes.

Yes, there are ATMs within in the university campus and almost all of them accept the VISA, MasterCard and Maestro powered cards. Though, there are regulations to withdraw amount up to certain limit only on daily basis.

We also have Western Union Branch in Aligarh City for exchange. Pre-paid credit cards also acceptable at the ATM’s but for that you should have International Withdrawal approved from your bank.

8. Are Indian degrees recognized globally?

Yes, Degree conferred by Mangalayatan University is approved by UGC, Govt. of India and valid globally.

9. Is there any screening process/Exam to secure admission?

Admission to International students is offered on the basis of academic records and merit basis only.

10. Will I face any language barrier while studying in an Indian institution?

English is the medium of instructions in all programs offered at Mangalayatan University. However, international students are also made aware of common words in local language to use while exploring city.
