Prof. Abdul Wadood Siddiqui, Principal, has a rich experience of 14 years in academics and is responsible for upgrading the overall academic environment of the Department, outlining crucial strategies for adoption of thrust areas for research, evolving improved curriculum delivery methods, initiatives for students’ development.<br>
He is an alumnus of the prestigious Jamia Hamdard (Hamdard University), New Delhi and was a recipient of the Junior Research fellowship from the MHRD for his M. Pharm. and Senior Research Fellowship from Ministry of Science & Technology for his Doctoral research.<br>
He has several international and national publications to his credit in peer reviewed journals and has co-authored a preparative book for the GPAT Competition.<br>
He is serving as Technical Editor on editorial board of five international and one national journal along with being a Reviewer for several research journals in the domain of Pharmacy.
Prof. Shobha Rani Kodesia has a remarkable experience of more than Thirty five years in teaching and administration in Performing Arts as H.O.D and Principal (off). She is also an artist of All India Radio. She has authored a book on Percussion music and her research papers have been published in many journals in India. She is an expert of various Govt. & Non-Govt. organizations regarding formulation of Innovative curriculum, Practical based teaching and Research in Fine Arts. Her research interest is Hindustani Classical Music and its different forms. She has a long experience as Research Supervisor (Ph.D) in the field of Performing Arts for more than 17 years and 10 scholars have been awarded doctoral degree under her guidance. She also represented India in many festivals abroad and has been honoured with many awards.
Dr. Lalit Kumar Tyagi, Asociate Professor, has a total teaching experience of more than 9 years and has guided 13 M. Pharm scholars. He has published 33 articles in various national and international journals and more than 250 citations are in his credit. He is also serving as a editorial board memer and reviewer with many journals. He is an Life member of various professional bodies like Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI), Uttar Pradesh Association for Science and Technology Advancement (UPASTA) and Association of Pharmacy Professionals (APP). Apart from being a committed teacher, he is devoted on research activities and his area of interest is development of novel drug delivery systems.
Dr. Alankar Shrivastava has a total experience of more than 11 years in academics and industry. He is the author of book “Validation of Analytical Methods: Methodology and Statistics” by CBS Publications and invited Editor of upcoming book “Adulteration analysis of some foods and drugs” by the prestigious international publcation house, Bentham Science Publications. One book chapter and more than 40 articles in various journals of national and international repute are to his credit. He also qualify Business English Certificate (Vantage) exam from University of Cambridge. He is editorial board member of World Journal of Analytical Chemistry and International Journal of Advances in Pharmaceutical Analysis and also reviewer in many journals.
Dr. Brijesh Sharma has been working as Associate Prof. in Pharmacy deptt. IBMER, Mangalayatan University, Aligarh since last five years. He has done Ph. D. From C.I.R.G., Farah (I.C.A.R. institute). He is specialized in biotechnology. He has a total experience (research & teaching) of 9 years. He has published 12 research papers (6 national & 6 international) in many reputed journals. He is an Associate member of International Society of Biotechnology (A.I.S.B.T.), Indore, M.P., India. He has won Outstanding Achievement Award and Young Talent Hunt Award in ISEM-PSRC Conference, Bangkok, Thailand & Life Science Category (npaa Journal), Bangalore, respectively.
Dr. Lal Ratnakar Singh, Associate Professor, is specialised in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. A Ph. D. from Uttarakhand Technical University, he has more than 9 years of teaching, industrial and research experience and has guided 5 M. Pharm. students.
He has published more than 14 research papers in various reputed national and international Journals. He has attended various national and international conferences and delivers many guest lecturers in various institutes. He is involved in various committees at university and department level.
Mr. Devashish Ganguly is popularly known as Sanggeetesh, is a renowned Hindustani Classical Vocal Guru, International Stage Performer, Graded Radio and TV Artist- Light Music, Music Composer and Lyricist of more than 500 songs. He has 13 years of Industrial Experience, total 14 years teaching experience to UG and PG classes and 2 years administrative experience as HOI- I/c Administrative Officer. He is pursuing for Ph.D. with Music subject. He has published research papers in ISBN Research journals. He has been honoured with many prestigious Awards for his valuable contributions in the field of Music. He has attended many National & International Conferences, Seminars & Workshops. He represented India as only Indian Vocalist at 29th World Music Conference of ISME at Beijing, China, 2010. He has guided many M.Phil. Dissertations and Projects.
Mr. Deepak Kulshreshtha has won “Kala Bhushan Award” for the Best Performance of Photography & Videography in the Year 2008 organised by Utkal Yuva Sanskrutik Sangh, Cuttack. He is an Associated Member of National Institute of Performing Art –NIPA, New Delhi. He has won prestigious “Heritage Short Film Festival” Jointly organized by Archaeological Survey of India Agra Circle and Institute of Tourism & Hotel Management, Dr.B.R.Ambedkar University, Agra in 2012. He has 12 years Teaching Experience to UG and PG classes. He is pursuing for Ph.D. in Visual Arts subject. He has published some research papers in Research journals. He has been honoured by many prestigious Awards for his valuable contributions in the field of Photographic Art. He has attended many National & International Conferences, Seminars & Workshops.
Pt. Debasis Chakroborty, a well known Indian classical Slide guitar virtuoso of India has joined department of music, under the faculty of Humanities, Mangalayatan University since its inception. His repertoire in Hindustani classical music attracts students & scholars from all over India & abroad. He has a vast professional experience of more than twenty years in the field of Hindustani classical music. He is a regular Visitor, conductor-Performer and Artist-in Residence of several foreign Universities. He played a key role in the successful implementation of an international collaborative research project on music between Mangalayatan University and Monash University, Australia. He has published several research papers in National and International books and journals. He has performed extensively throughout South East Asia, Australia and Europe in major international music festivals and received appreciations & honors from musical fraternity. He is also an expert of many Govt. and non Govt. organizations.
Ms. Akansha Singh has specialised in Pharmacognosy from BBD-NITM, Lucknow. She has 7 years of experience and has published 04 national and international papers. She has participated in various conferences and workshops. Apart from being a committed teacher, she is devoted to research activities and her area of interest is screening of hepatoprotective natural drugs, Extraction, standardization and evaluation of therapeutic efficacies of micro and macro molecular phytochemicals, Preparation and evaluations of herbal formulations for their therapeutic benefits, Standardization and stability study of herbal formulation.
Mr. Dashrath Singh has total experience of more than 7 years in academics and industry. He completed M. Pharm. (Pharmaceutics) from Ultra College of Pharmacy, Madurai, Tamil Nadu and pursuing Ph. D. from Bhagwant University, Ajmer. He has published 6 articles in various journals of national and international. He has supervised 10 students for the award of Master of Pharmacy and also 5 students have carried out the research work for the award of Master of Pharmacy under his Co-supervision.
Dr. Gaurav Garg has experience of more than 7 years in teaching different subjects in diploma, degree and post graduate levels. He has guided 3 post graduate students in their research work. He is pursuing Ph. D. from Mangalayatan University, Aligarh. He has presented papers in various national and international conferences.
Mr. Ram Babu tripathi has experience of more than 6 years in teaching different subjects in diploma, degree and post graduate levels. He guided 4 post graduate students in their research work. He is a principal investigator of one DBT sponsored project entitled “Design and synthesis of potent analogues of peroxisome proliferator gamma receptor agonist by allosteric modulation studies” in bioinformatics division. He is pursuing Ph. D. from Mangalayatan University, Aligarh. He has presented papers in various national and international conferences

Dr. Poonam Rani has pursued her Ph.D. in Drawing & Painting from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra. She is also a NET qualified faculty who joined this University in 2007. She has also done Diploma in Textile Design. At present, She is working as Assistant Professor-II(Visual Arts) with an experience of over 10 years in academics. She has displayed her talent in several Painting Exhibitions all over India and participated in National Workshops and Seminars at Aligarh Muslim University,JJT University-Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan , UP state Lalit Kala Academy Lucknow etc. She has a very keen interest in different research areas under Visual Arts.
Dr. Kamran Javed Naquvi, has completed his M.Pharm and Ph.D. in Pharmacognosy & Phytochemistry from Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi. He has qualified GATE (94.53 per centile) in 2007 and awarded with JRF from UGC during M.Pharm and SRF from ICMR during Ph. D.
Dr. Naquvi has 7 years of research and academic experience in the field of Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry having worked extensively worked on quality standards, HPTLC, HPLC, GC-MS and column chromatography. He has published more than 60 research papers in various reputed National and International Journals. He has completed a ICMR project in which 32 monographs have been published in book series of “Quality Standards of Indian Medicinal Plants” in Vol. 11 (2013); Vol. 12 (2014) and Vol. 13 (2015) published by Medicinal Plants Unit, ICMR, New Delhi, India.
Mr. Talever Singh has completed M. Pharm (Pharmacology) from prestigious college KLE College of Pharmacy, Hubli, Karnataka in 2010. He is pursuing Ph. D. in Pharmacology from Mangalayatan University, Aligarh (U.P). Mr. Singh has 5 years of experience in the field of Pharmacology and published 07 national and international publications. He has participated eight conferences and workshops. He has supervised research project of 05 M. Pharm. students. Apart from being a committed teacher, he is devoted on research activities and his area of interest is screening of antidiabetic, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antipyretic and CNS acting drugs.
Mr. Prashant Varshney did his B. Pharm and M.Pharm from Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow and KLE University, Belgaum, Karnataka, Respectively. He is pursuing Ph. D. from Mangalayatan University. He is actively involved in teaching of undergraduates and postgraduate courses of Pharmacy including research. His areas of research are neuropharmacology, diabetes and hepatic. He has supervised 04 M. Pharm students. He has presented research papers and published more than 15 abstract in various conference and seminars. Mr. Prashant also serving as external examiner of several colleges.
Mr. Ashwani Gupta is working as Assistant Professor in the Institute of Biomedical Education & Research, Mangalayatan University, Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh since 2015. He did his B. Pharm. from Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow and M. Pharm. from TeerthankerMahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. He is pursuing Ph. D. from Mangalayatan University. He is actively involved in teaching of undergraduates courses of pharmacy including research. His areas of research are immunopharmacology and diabetes.
Ajay Singh Rathore is specialised in Applied Art (Graphic Design). An M.Phil. from Mangalayatan University, he has more then 6 years of teaching and professional experience. He has participated in faculty devlopment programe organised by Microsoft -Saksham (A Community of ICT champions in education Sector) through ICT (NMEICT) of MHRD., Kala Mela UP State Lalit Kala Academy, Lucknow, National Workshop -Rabindranjali and also attended many conferences/ seminars. He has earned appreciation as artistic director(Graphics) in national and international academic events.
Vilas Palkhe, son of the illustrious Gwalior gharana vocalist late Purushottam Madav Palkhe, has done his M.A. from Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya and Master of Performing Art(Tabla) from Mangalayatan University. He is an excellent Soloist as well as an accompanist with more than eight years experience in teaching. He has accompanied many renowned musicians of India.
Prem Lata Yadav, a young artist from Aligarh Joined in the department in 2015. She has participated in many painting workshops and exhibitions in U.P. She is Pursuing her Ph.D. degree in Painting.
Mr. Atul Kumar Singh, has post-graduated from Uttar Pradesh Technical University, and is pursuing Ph. D. from Mangalayatan University. He is actively involved in teaching of undergraduates. His areas of research is Novel Drug Delivery System. He has presented review paper and published abstract in international conference.
Ms. Afrin Salma is working as Lecturer in Department of Pharmacy, IBMER. She is pursuing her Ph. D. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Mangalayatan University, Aligarh. She has completed her M. Pharm. from Integral University, Lucknow, U.P.She has 4 years of experience inresearch, academic and hospital pharmacy. She has sound knowledge of chemical synthesis, QSAR, CADD and molecular docking.
Mr. Deepanshu Sharma has completed M. Pharm (Pharmceutical Chemistry) from Rajiv Academy for Pharmacy, Mathura. He is pursuing Ph. D. from Mangalayatan University. He is actively involved in teaching of subjects such as: Phramaceutical Analysis, Human Anatomy & Physiology etc. His areas of research is Computational Drug Design and QSAR.
